How to Use Chinese Social Media to Attract Tourists in 2025

How to Use Chinese Social Media to Attract Tourists in 2025

Have you noticed that Chinese travelers are returning to international destinations in bigger numbers? After years of restrictions, the outbound tourism wave from China is back. For many small and medium businesses in tourism – hotels, restaurants, tours, attractions – this is fantastic news. But here’s the catch: Chinese travelers don’t get their information from the same places as your Western guests.

Forget Google, Facebook, Instagram, or even TripAdvisor. These platforms are blocked in China. Instead, Chinese tourists live in their own online ecosystem, built around super apps, short video platforms, and lifestyle communities. If you want to attract them, you need to be visible where they spend their time. That means WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, and a few other niche platforms.

Let’s look at the trends shaping Chinese tourism in 2025, and then go platform by platform with simple, practical tips for how SMEs like yours can use them.

What’s New in 2025? The Social Media Trends That Matter

So, how are Chinese tourists planning their trips today? The answer is: almost entirely through social media.

  • Inspiration starts with video. A 15-second clip on Douyin showing a beautiful beach or a cozy café can spark the idea for an entire trip.

  • Trust comes from peers. On Xiaohongshu, users post “travel notes” – mini diaries and reviews. Other users read them like they would a friend’s recommendation.

  • Practical info comes via WeChat. Whether it’s asking a question, checking a mini-program, or finalizing a booking, WeChat is where business happens.

  • Buzz spreads on Weibo. Big announcements, celebrity trips, or influencer posts can trend here and give destinations a wider audience.

  • Younger travelers explore niche platforms. Gen Z might watch longer videos on Bilibili or read advice on Zhihu before booking.

For Chinese tourists, the journey from “I saw a post” to “I booked a trip” is digital, social, and fast. If you want a share of this market, you need to join their online journey.

WeChat: The Super App You Can’t Ignore

Do you already use WhatsApp, Facebook, and email to communicate with customers? In China, all of that is packed into WeChat. It’s a messaging tool, a payment system, a content hub, and even a booking platform. Every Chinese tourist uses it daily.

How SMEs can use WeChat:

  1. Create an Official Account. This is like your Facebook page, but in WeChat. Use it to share updates, travel tips, or promotions in Chinese.

  2. Answer quickly. Chinese travelers expect fast replies. Treat WeChat like live chat. If they message you and don’t get a response, they’ll move on.

  3. Add a mini-program if possible. Even a simple booking or info page in Chinese makes you look professional and trustworthy.

  4. Encourage guests to follow you. Add QR codes at your hotel desk, restaurant tables, or on flyers. Once they follow, you can send updates and keep the relationship alive.

WeChat is not flashy, but it’s essential for building trust and converting interest into bookings

.

Douyin: Where Travel Dreams Begin

Have you ever seen a destination go viral just because of one short video? That’s Douyin in action. It’s the Chinese version of TikTok, but even bigger.

Travel is one of the hottest topics on Douyin. Young people watch clips to find hidden gems, fun activities, and photo-worthy spots. If you’re not on Douyin, you’re missing out on the main stage for travel inspiration.

How SMEs can use Douyin:

  1. Show your experience in motion. Don’t just post photos – record short, fun videos. Show your restaurant’s signature dish being served, or the view from your hotel balcony.

  2. Keep it short and engaging. 10–20 seconds is enough. Add subtitles in Chinese and upbeat music.

  3. Use hashtags. Douyin works on trends. Add relevant travel hashtags so your video gets discovered.

  4. Work with micro-influencers. You don’t need to hire celebrities. Small influencers with loyal audiences can bring great results at lower cost.

  5. Post consistently. One viral video can change your visibility, but regular posting keeps you top of mind.

If you want to inspire Chinese tourists, Douyin is your best starting point.

Xiaohongshu (RED): The Trust Builder

Do you know where Chinese travelers go to double-check if a place is worth visiting? It’s Xiaohongshu, also known as RED or “Little Red Book.” Think of it as Instagram + TripAdvisor + Pinterest in one.

On Xiaohongshu, users share authentic posts: reviews, photos, travel diaries. It’s not about fancy ads; it’s about real experiences. That’s why it’s so trusted.

How SMEs can use Xiaohongshu:

  1. Encourage user posts. Ask your Chinese guests to share their experience on RED. Their posts act as free advertising.

  2. Create lifestyle content. Don’t just promote your hotel room – share a post about “The perfect 24 hours in our city” or “Best food stops after visiting our museum.”

  3. Use nice visuals. High-quality photos with a story work best here.

  4. Reply to comments. Engage with users in Chinese. It shows you care.

  5. Collaborate with KOLs. Key opinion leaders on RED can “plant the seed” for your destination among thousands of followers.

If Douyin inspires, RED convinces. This is where curiosity becomes The very first step is to register in the Little Red Book’s system (小红书入驻平台) as a merchant or a company. Registering on the app can be somewhat complicated, lots of paperwork has to be done in Chinese trust.

Weibo: is Dying

While WeChat, Douyin, and RED dominate daily use, Weibo still plays a little role, especially for trending topics. Think of it as dead  Facebook. It’s where news spreads fast, and where some old influencers amplify messages.

How SMEs can use Weibo:

  1. Use it for announcements. Hosting an event, festival, or new package? Post it here.

  2. Connect with influencers. Weibo is home to many celebrities and travel bloggers. Partnering with the right one can give you huge exposure.

  3. Ride the trends. Use trending hashtags to link your service to bigger conversations.

  4. Don’t rely only on Weibo. It’s better as a support channel than a main one. Use it for reach, not deep engagement.

Weibo may not convert directly, but it can put your brand in front of a wide audience.

Other Platforms Worth Knowing

Not every SME needs to use them, but depending on your niche:

  • Bilibili: Great if your target audience is young Gen Z travelers who love long videos (vlogs, guides, behind-the-scenes).

  • Zhihu: A Q&A platform. If you have expertise (like running cultural tours), answering questions can position you as an authority.

These are optional, but can be powerful if your audience fits.

Practical Tips for SMEs

So, what should you do next if you want more Chinese visitors? Here’s a simple action list:

  1. Start with one platform. If you can’t handle all, pick Douyin (for inspiration) or RED (for trust) and get started.

  2. Use video. Video is the language of Chinese social media in 2025. Even simple clips filmed on your phone work if they’re authentic.

  3. Be reachable on WeChat. Every Chinese tourist uses it. Add a QR code and answer fast.

  4. Show social proof. Encourage guests to post on RED or Douyin. User-generated content is more powerful than ads.

  5. Explain local etiquette. Create a short, friendly video in Chinese about “how to behave in our country” – things like tipping, dress codes, or quiet zones. Tourists will appreciate it, and locals will thank you.

  6. Work with local partners. Agencies in China can help you run campaigns, manage influencers, and avoid mistakes.

My Thoughts Philip Chen

I am the CEO of GMA and i have proposed this article.

Chinese tourists are one of the biggest opportunities for global tourism in 2025. They’re digital, social, and ready to travel. But to attract them, you need to meet them on their platforms – not yours.

WeChat helps you communicate, Douyin inspires them, Xiaohongshu convinces them, and Weibo spreads the word. If you use these platforms well, even as a small business, you can compete for attention and win loyal guests.

At ChineseTouristAgency.com, this is what we do every day. Our team is based in China. We manage campaigns on Douyin, RED, and WeChat. We focus on lead generation, not just likes. And we help SMEs like you attract, engage, and convert Chinese tourists with real results.

So, are you ready to welcome more Chinese travelers to your business? The opportunity is here. Now it’s time to show up where they are – on Chinese social media.

China’s $10B Bet on South Africa

🌍 Watching China’s $10B Bet on South Africa — From the Ground in China

Living in China, you get used to bold moves. But this one stands out: Beijing has just announced a $10 billion investment in 🇿🇦 South Africa, focusing on ports, trade, and building Africa’s largest “Silicon Valley.”

From here, it’s clear this is not just another development deal. It’s a strategic play.

🚢 Why South Africa?

It’s the most industrialized economy in Africa, a BRICS member, and a natural gateway into the continent. With access to both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, South Africa sits at a critical crossroads.

China understands this perfectly. By investing here, it secures:

  • Shipping lanes that connect Africa to global trade.

  • Influence over the flow of goods, tech, and capital.

  • A launchpad for future projects across the continent.

Meanwhile, in the West? Endless debates over tariffs, sanctions, and aid packages. In China? Steel, railways, and now a digital future.

💻 Africa’s “Silicon Valley”
The jewel in this plan is a massive innovation hub — data centers, AI labs, startup incubators, and tech-driven manufacturing. For South Africa’s youth (with unemployment above 30%), this could be life-changing. For China, it locks in future markets and makes sure Africa’s digital story is written with Beijing’s code, not Silicon Valley’s.

🌐 BRICS’ Bigger Vision
From inside China, you see how serious BRICS strategy has become. Each country brings something to the table:

  • Brazil: resources

  • Russia: energy & defense

  • India: IT & pharma

  • China: manufacturing & tech

  • South Africa: Africa’s gateway

By funding this project, China is anchoring BRICS’ presence in Africa. And with 1.7 billion Africans by 2030 — half under 25 years old — whoever builds the digital ecosystem will shape the continent’s future.

Big opportunity for Panel ssyetem, and electricty supplier factory like this one explai,ed mike expat living in China on this blog iworkinChina

⚖️ The Alternative to the West
As an expat here, I’ve noticed a striking difference in approach:

  • The U.S. offers sanctions and weapons.

  • Europe debates migration and tariffs.

  • China offers ports, cables, and tech platforms.

African leaders aren’t blind. They’ll take the partner who brings jobs and infrastructure. And that’s where Beijing keeps winning.

🚨 Risks Are Real
This won’t be smooth. Debt dependency, South Africa’s political challenges, and U.S. pushback are all on the horizon. But one thing I’ve learned living here: China plays the long game. Where others hesitate, it builds.

🚀 Final Thought
This $10B move is more than ports and tech parks. It’s about reshaping the global order, giving Africa a new place in the digital economy, and pushing BRICS as a rival to Western dominance.

🏠 Real Estate Lead Generation on Douyin (TikTok): Why It’s the Future (And How to Dominate It)

Yes, real estate hustlers! 🚀 If you’re still relying on cold calls, billboards, or boring Facebook ads to generate leads, you’re missing out on the biggest disruption in property marketing: Douyin (China’s TikTok). This platform isn’t just for dance challenges and lip-sync videos—it’s a goldmine for real estate lead gen. Here’s why (and how to crush it).

Why Douyin = The Future of Real Estate Leads

1. 1 BILLION+ Active Users (And They’re Hungry for Content)

Douyin isn’t just huge—it’s addictive. Users spend 90+ minutes daily scrolling through short, snappy videos. For real estate, that means:

  • Massive reach: Tap into young, urban demographics (Gen Z, Millennials) looking to buy their first home or invest.

  • Hyper-local targeting: Use geo-tags to dominate specific cities or neighborhoods (e.g., #ShanghaiLuxuryHomes, #ShenzhenApartments).

2. Algorithm Magic: Your Listing Goes Viral, Not Your Budget

Douyin’s algorithm rewards creativity, not ad spend. A well-edited 15-second video of a luxury penthouse or a “day in the life” of a real estate agent can blow up overnight, reaching thousands of qualified buyers—organically.

3. Live Streaming = Virtual Open Houses 24/7

Agents and developers are using Douyin Live to:

  • Host virtual tours (with AR filters to showcase empty rooms as furnished spaces).

  • Answer buyer questions in real-time (“What’s the down payment?” “Any hidden fees?”).

  • Build trust by showing real expertise (no scripted BS).

  • The city’s business district of Chaoyang began three days of mass testing on Monday for anyone living or working in the region.
  • The increase in cases in Beijing come as mainland China faces its worst Covid outbreak since early 2020 and most of Shanghai, China’s largest city, remains under prolonged lockdown. source https://www.cnbc.com/2022/04/25/chinas-capital-city-beijing-begins-covid-testing-in-business-district.html

The Situation in Shanghai April 2022

two weeks, sometimes much more for many of you, we are all subject to the strict confinement imposed by the Chinese authorities on the entire municipality of Shanghai to deal with the unprecedented epidemic outbreak in the city. Our compatriots who live in the Yangtze River Delta provinces outside of Shanghai are also mostly subject to strong restrictions that damage their daily life and professional activity.

Lockdown in Shanghai

This lockdown has turned everyone's lives upside down. Difficulties related to the supply of food have become a subject of concern, as has the question of access to emergency care. This is added, for the families, the problems related to the education of the children and the anxiety of a possible separation if a child comes to be tested positive.

 Problem of supply of food

More generally, the accommodation conditions in the collective isolation structures receiving the cases tested positive or the close contact cases raise legitimate questions. Finally, many of us have experienced frustration and sadness because of the impossibility of fulfilling our civic duty during the first round of the presidential election, on April 10th.

And we are all wondering how long the restrictions affecting our community will last. If the first official announcements had been for short periods, it is now clear in view of the dynamics of the epidemic that the return to normal will be very gradual.

In this context, the offices of the consulate are certainly closed due to confinement, but our teams remain and remain present by your side throughout the duration of the crisis. In close collaboration with the French Embassy in Beijing, we are mobilized 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the French community in this difficult period. Our action takes place at three levels:

- informing the community via regular situation updates, via the network of island leaders and via webinars with the Ambassador co-organized with the CCIFC and open to all;

- advocacy action with the Chinese authorities so that the concerns of foreign communities, and in particular European ones, are better taken into account;

- support for French nationals in difficulty. This last work mobilizes a large part of the consulate teams as long as the situations are complex due to the confinement rules, but we make sure to follow all the situations that are reported to us.

Our priorities for action relate to the following issues:

- The situation of French people identified as positive cases or contact cases. We provide individual follow-up for each of them. In compliance with Chinese regulations, we are mobilizing so that those of our compatriots who are transferred to centers set up by the authorities benefit from acceptable accommodation conditions, in terms of hygiene, comfort and privacy. Progress has been made in recent days and several of our compatriots have been able to return home, but we remain mobilized for those who continue to face difficult situations. We also oppose any separation of families, with success so far. Do not hesitate to contact us, we will be at your side explained jingwanglawyer

- The difficulties of daily life during confinement. We have seen progress in recent days on issues related to food supplies, which are primarily the responsibility of local authorities. We have intervened to provide, in cooperation with our partners, emergency aid to deal with certain situations of distress and remain ready to do so again if necessary. We are also at your disposal if you encounter difficulties in accessing necessary or urgent care. With the associations which play a very important role of solidarity, we are also at your disposal to help you deal with various situations of distress, in particular psychological ones explained a member of the ChinesebusinessClub

- Air connectivity is also affected by the lockdown. Airlines are struggling to operate flights from Pudong Airport due to shortages of ground crew. Many flights are cancelled. The embassy and the consulate have intervened with the Chinese authorities, with our European partners, so that the conditions allowing regular flights to operate normally are restored as soon as possible. In addition, as a first step, we intervened as a priority to support people who had to return to France for medical or humanitarian emergencies. We are now also supporting the efforts of our compatriots who are having difficulty obtaining exit permits and getting to the airport in order

Tmall care about IP protection to catch luxury Brands

Tmall care about IP protection to catch luxury Brands

The B2C market has expanded rapidly in China, with the rise of fierce industry competition. According to industry insiders, this opposition has brought with it inferior quality and ease as well as lopsided item quality levels and administration levels. Alibaba opened another Taobao Mall, this time with new guidelines and a different name. This effectively removed the Tmall completely from Taobao Marketplace.

Pressing factor for change

Even if you go back only a few years, most people who are familiar with Taobao and other similar destinations will see the "Wild West” nature of the stage. The ease with which people could sell false products and benefits was almost universal, much like eBay in the West. Alibaba was a young organization that found it difficult to follow up on so many things.

Alibaba, despite its IPO, is now better able to protect its foundation and build up its business procedures. However, it is also less able to resist the pressure from other organizations to ensure IP assurance. This is a crucial step towards future success. It recognizes the benefits of protecting its IP and the IP of other organizations who have items on its online business platforms. The State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), which recommended 63% of the brand merchandise recorded on the site as fakes, has also put pressure on it.

Alibaba was hit with a variety of claims. Models include French extravagance bunch Kering SA. This holding organization is the owner of brands such as Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga. It also holds the rights to brand names like Balenciaga. Brioni. Gucci. Puma. Volcom. They claim that AliExpress gives a commercial centre to sellers who are occupied with selling fake goods. September saw the US Chamber of Commerce and the US Trade Agent document China's compliance with World Trade Organization responsibilities. AliExpress was identified as a source of concern.

China and WHO investigate about the origin of the Covid

A leading Chinese scientist who co-led the World Health Organization (WHO) and China expert group to investigate the origin of COVID-19 has what he calls "attempts at politicization of the study and misinterpretations of the findings, ”claiming that the investigation was based on science, close collaboration, openness and hard work.

The remarks were made by Liang Wannian, professor of public health at Tsinghua University and head of the Chinese team of the joint expert group, as a WHO spokesperson announced on Monday that the report of The investigation into the team's field visit to Wuhan from Jan. 14 to Feb. 10 could be released next week.

Mr. Liang claimed in an interview with China Daily that the result of the refl study was the consensus of Chinese and foreign experts and that the investigation into the origin of the pathogen may require the joint and long-term efforts of scientists. .

“Some politicians and foreign media have shown great disrespect for the work of scientists by seeking to politicize the investigation into the origins of COVID-19 and by deliberately misinterpreting the findings and report of the expert teams ", He said.

"Chinese and foreign experts are drafting the full text of the report, which involves substantial content, and scientists are doing their best to ensure its integrity and accuracy," he said, adding that this was the reason why the process was taking time.

"The international community, in particular the scientific community, should defend a scientific spirit and conduct an investigation into the origin (of the virus) on the basis of respect for science and the facts," he argued.

Liang downplayed hopes that the team, made up of around 30 scientists from the WHO and China, can provide a clear answer to any issues with an investigation of around 30 days.

This will require continued and in-depth study from the scientists' side on questions such as how the virus came about and how it reached the human population, he said.

However, the investigation marked a good start in tracing the origin of the virus globally as it revealed findings in five aspects, he said.

The date of onset of the first case in Wuhan was December 8, which was revealed by disease surveillance and research for previous cases in the city, he said, adding that experts also detected that the Huanan seafood market had played some role in the pandemic.

"The virus is of natural origin, and the greatest possibility is that the virus was transmitted from a natural reservoir to an intermediate host before passing to humans," he said, adding that the spread by the chain of cold, a possible new mode of transmission, had not been ruled out.

He reiterated a conclusion revealed by WHO experts at a press conference on February 9 that it is "extremely unlikely" that the virus will spread to humans following a laboratory leak.

These views were shared by Peter Ben Embarek, head of the WHO mission, who said in an interview last month that the mission's outcome was a victory for the international scientific community.

Liang also refuted reports that there had been strong disagreements or conflicts between Chinese and foreign experts on the panel, saying both sides recognized the professionalism and scientific spirit of both. ' other.

At the start of the joint investigation, the experts proposed the principles on which they would work together to develop plans, conduct field research, write the report and go public, he argued.

Liang stressed that the team of experts of the joint WHO-China investigation into the origin of COVID-19 in Wuhan was completely independent and that the experts had the opportunity to speak to various groups, including medical workers, laboratory workers, researchers, market managers, vendors and members of the public during the process.

He explained that the Chinese experts had carried out general work on collecting related data on origin tracing from July, after the terms of reference were formulated for the expert group.

China is bringing together related units and scientists to conduct work on data collection and preliminary analysis before presenting to WHO experts, he added.

A survey in China conducted by ‘Wine Intelligence’

A survey conducted by ‘Wine Intelligence’ showed that a growing number of middle class Chinese citizens are drinking imported wines. Also, they drink more frequently. Chinese wine consumers are spending serious money on wine, which they choose from the ever-growing assortment in both online and offline shops. “Wine in China has left its niche and has entered mainstream business”, says Shanghai wine marketer Olivier Verot.

source : https://www.bluebiz.com/en/BizClubs/Club-China-News/wine-in-china-from-niche-into-mainstream

Export to Europe

The latest development is that China-produced is crossing borders. China’s biggest local wine brand, Yantai Changyu Pioneer Wine, has exported its ‘Noble Dragon’ brand wine to Spain. The Chinese wine - a mix of Cabernet Gernitscht and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes – is sold for 10 euros and can be found in supermarkets and restaurants. The Chinese company is also selling to France’s Carrefour SA and another British supermarket chain, Tesco.

The quality of wines produced on Chinese soil is set to go up. The French luxury brand Moet Hennessy has set its sights on China, looking to produce a new fine wine in a rural area in the southwest of the country. The full-bodied red wine Ao Yun is grown and bottled in the Adong area of China, on a remote plateau approximately 8,530 ft. above sea level and near the Tibetan border. With only 24,000 bottles produced, each bottle is priced at 300 euros.

How to market wine in China ?

The wine market in China is growing. Wines that have a good reputation are sold at a good price. In short: Chinese consumers want lifestyle, and lifestyle comes from oversea.

How to choose a Chinese supplier that fits your business

Many people ask me directly:
" finding suppliers in China is so frustrating, either my MOQ is insufficient, or the cost of the product exceeds my budget. »

Some new Amazon sellers tell me:
« My sales are finally stable, really happy to place a second order from my previous supplier, but there was a difference in quality between the two batches of products, which led my advertisement to receive many negative reviews, it's a nightmare. "

In order to avoid similar cases, there are a few things you need to make sure of before you start your supplier search. The first step should be an in-depth analysis of your business model. Be sure to assess the market for your products, your niche and the quantity required for your first order. Choosing a supplier that fits your business well will help you a lot in the long run.

I have divided the importers into five categories and will give you practical advice for each:

  • EBay, Shopify, Wish sellers (multiple SKUs make them profitable)
  • Amazon sellers
  • Chinese Importers specializing in importing certain products, such as auto parts.
  • These Importers who wish to develop a product based on their own ideas.
  • Importers who have or plan to open local supermarket chains.

1. suppliers for online store

The common point of these three e-Commerce platforms is to have a wide variety of products.

Here, the big sellers can easily buy and keep a large inventory of products. However, the number of orders from small and medium sellers remains low, because during the initial phase, sellers must test and assess the market reaction for the products they offer. Each product will only need a small inventory to test the market. After a period of sales analysis, a large amount of stock can be purchased for products that have had good customer feedback.

So, in this case, should you consult the manufacturers directly to purchase these products? Certainly not! The best approach is to contact certain wholesalers online and purchase a small number of products to test the market. DHgate and Aliexpress are great places to start.

Yes, I do not recommend Alibaba here, because Alibaba suppliers generally have a high MOQ. The purchase amount of a product must be at least $ 1,000 or more. For example, if you just want to place an order of $ 300 to $ 500 or even less, most Alibaba suppliers will not accept such an order. Even if you meet a few suppliers willing to work with you, you will not get the price you want.

how to find supplier for your amazon store?

Amazon’s principle is fundamentally different from the previous three e-Commerce platforms. Amazon is committed to providing users with a good product and customer service experience. So the mantra for success is:

Good product + good marketing strategy = good ranking

So for Amazon sellers, a good product and a stable supply chain are of paramount importance for starting your business. You should be more careful when looking for suppliers.

It should be noted that if you are looking for a supplier on Alibaba, many suppliers will ask you for a high MOQ, up to $ 2,000 at the start. Do not give up, try to communicate with suppliers, there is usually room for maneuver. You can get a lower MOQ, but it will mean the price can be 20% higher. If the supplier is reliable and the quality of subsequent products is also guaranteed, I suggest that you do not worry too much about the starting price. Once the sales volume is stable, you can slowly increase your MOQ to lower your unit cost and increase your profits.

In addition to finding suppliers on Alibaba, you can also attend some exhibitions in China. Visiting China will allow you to communicate directly with suppliers in order to negotiate a better offer. You can also find unique products that are not available on Alibaba.

 Importers specializing in certain products

https://buyfromcharlotte.com/

This section focuses on importers of a particular type of industrial product, such as auto parts. Unlike consumer goods, this category of products requires knowledge of various technical parameters, materials, etc. to assess the quality. In addition, each product has several variations, which makes it even more difficult to verify the product by simply looking at the right supplier

China is becoming the biggest movie market in the world

The growing cinematic superpower is forcing blockbusters to change before reaching its audience Speaking to CBC News, Midway director Roland Emmerich bluntly said:
"Without China, Midway would not have happened. It's such a huge market that you can easily get your money back."

The Chinese central government tightly controls which films can be viewed, limiting foreign films to a quota of around 34 films per year. Government-sanctioned co-productions are, however, exempt from the quota. source

Each film released in China is controlled by government censors; some of the restricted elements include attacks on state authority, supernatural elements and homosexuality. the process has become difficult, says Paterson, since the regulation of films was placed under the direct control of the Communist Party. The project is currently at a standstill, awaiting approval by the service responsible for works of historic importance. A process that was supposed to take six months has so far spanned a year and a half.

The censors tripled everything checked out, says Paterson, and examined the scenes between Bethune and Mao Zedong. He made minor changes to the script. Now all he can do is wait.
Market influence and public demand could cause China to relax the restrictions. But Allen-Ebrahimian says a recent incident with the NBA, in which a team official expressed support for the Hong Kong protests, suggests otherwise.

Mobile First in China

Once China grants you market access, it is yours - unless you want to sacrifice profit for the sake of it

There are nearly 900 million internet users in China, who are permanently connected to their mobiles, tablets, and computers. Despite this massive number of Chinese online consumers, some new companies struggle to attract those new kinds of customers. So for all these companies, the right way to get the attention of Chinese customers is to use the Influencers or KOL. In fact, Influencers or KOL (key opinion leaders) have many followers and they really know how to reach the diverse community, representing different age groups and interests. Actually, we are in the ‘golden age of influencers in China, this latter is established their online celebrities through social media with large followers. KOLs behaviors have a big impact in China because Chinese consumers are constantly connected to the internet and are hyperactive on social networks. source GMA

Despite this, China has many market forces and unique players that make it different. The Chinese electronic pharmacy market has grown substantially in the last six years according to Sinohealth CMH (中 康 CMH). The Sinohealth study shows that sales of B2C electronic pharmacies reached almost 28 billion CNY in 2016, representing an increase of 93% year-on-year since 2015 and is more than 17 times the amount of sales in 2012. With its growing size, China's electronic pharmacy market is already becoming one of the world's most important sectors of the healthcare industry.

Today, the largest Chinese cities are experiencing a massive increase in the demand for health care services and services, with an average of approximately 30% each year. According to China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC, 中国 互联 网络 信息 中 中 中)

those numbers will continue to increase in the coming years. As a result, the combination of two main trends in China, medical care and electronic commerce, is driving the development of the electronic pharmacy alternative at a tremendous pace. In 2016, China surpassed Japan and became the second largest pharmaceutical market in the world, with more than 914 companies approved to sell over-the-counter (OTC) drugs online in China as of January 2017, according to the Administration of China Food and Drug (CFDA),

Succeeding in the electronic pharmacy in China: practicality about risk One of the reasons for the success of electronic pharmacy in China is the fact that many people are very common. This results in high levels of stress and pressure in the dietary supplement, particularly vitamins and dietary supplements (VDS). The purchasing power of the average consumer is increasing rapidly in China, and it also requires strengthening your immune system, delaying aging and fighting fatigue. In many cases, many Chinese citizens are more likely to navigate to a complex health care market and be discouraged by expensive medical services. It is natural that self-medication and traditional medicine have remained very common in China. Electronic pharmacy services offer a clear solution to the current

Electronic pharmacy platforms show that herbal and natural ingredients are the most popular medications. The general Chinese consensus on non-herbal and non-natural medicines such as prescription drugs is quite poor. Therefore, over-the-counter products aimed at combating allergies, colds and coughs experienced strong growth in 2016, along with dermatological creams in Chinese electronic pharmacies.

As the average revenue and the middle class in China are growing, the demand for healthcare goods and services is getting huge. The new generation in particular. The older generation wants to save money for their children, so they only spend a little bit of money on themselves. New generations look often themselves much lot and they also care for their family. Spending money on the body or health care is a necessity and a normality to them.

The pharmaceutical market was covered by nationwide pharmacy chains. Hospitals were the main place to get drugs and they counted on drug sales for revenue. New rules from the government allow china’s e-commerce giants to get a hand in pharmaceuticals by directing prescription drug sales away from hospitals into retail. It aims to enable patients to choose between hospitals and retail pharmacies for prescription drug purchases.

The Mistery Market of E-Commerce of Cholocate in China

Alibaba Singles' Day's shopping extravaganza is well on its way to surpassing last year's record as consumers created everything from consumer electronics, luxury items and even automobiles just as the clock struck midnight.
It is expected that this year's Singles' Day will be the biggest ever in Alibaba as it aims to reach a record 1 trillion orders at the end of the 24-hour event. Orders worth 131 trillion yuan ($ 18.8 billion) had been received by 9:32 am on Sunday, compared to $ 103 trillion at the same time last year.
In 2017, consumers spent 168.2 billion yuan during the one-day event, also known as Double 11, making it the largest shopping festival in the world. source

The New Retail Market of Chocolate in China

As the press reports on the success of "New Retail", Alibaba reports on technologies ranging from artificial intelligence and data center cooling to automatic reading, blockchain and JD's impressive array of physical businesses have all their potential to grow globally over the long term to develop the Sales for cholocate brands in China
. In the world of trade, the delivery of the last kilometer is one of the findings of consumer consent. Amazon is aware of this and offers its members free shipping during this holiday season.
China has cultural values for food specially for Chocolate , so you have to adapt to the market. One of the most effective strategies in the market of China and the United States. This strategy enables you to reduce costs, operate more accurate marketing, get feedback from the market, and have easy control of the reputation.

How to sell chocolate in China?

Have a website in Chinese

A Chinese website is required to enter a market and create a branding. This year it is a good solution to increase the satisfaction of your customers. After all, promoting your SEO company or SEM is essential. source seoChinaagency

Maximize JD

JD.com notes that global brands like Apple, Dell, Dyson, L'Oréal, SK-II, Pampers, and many others are seeing impressive sales growth. JD has partnered with companies such as Walmart and Tencent to focus on global growth and even build a sales funnel in America. It's good that you've never heard of JD, but it's the second largest e-commerce retailer in China where it matters most.

JD make 25Billion sales for double 11

JD reported a 27 percent increase in daily revenue over the previous year. The last two years that have impressed me the most are the growth of JD, which has doubled the number of 11. Amazon's "Prime Day" took place every July. Alibaba has a long history and Asia is more dense in terms of consumption. But JD, nobody really saw it coming. If Amazon is to be associated with Walmart and Target, however, Google is the largest market in the e-commerce market in China. This is pushing Chinese technology companies to innovate. Use Social Networking Sites (SNS)

Social networks like Wechat or Weibo are used by a large part of the Chinese population. Therefore, promoting your chocolate in SNS is important to your business. With SNS, you can build a community, get closer to your goal, create a friendly corporate image, and get brand feedback. So where are the JD numbers? Well, the figures for 2018 have increased by 26% compared to the previous year, 127.1 billion RMB were registered with GMV and have a value of over 19.14 billion USD. To be clear, he increased sales by nearly $ 4 billion. Despite a weaker Chinese Yuan, a trade war, Chinese consumers are still quite confident. I very much doubt that Western consumers used the optimistic Christmas season. At least Amazon and Apple have different stories.

UK mistery in China

UK economy

The weakest household spending for three years and falling levels of business investment dragged the economy to the worst quarter for five years, official statisticians have said. The Office for National Statistics confirmed its previous estimate that GDP growth slumped to 0.1% in the first quarter, while sticking to its view that the “beast from the east” had little impact. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2018/may/25/uk-economy-posts-worst-quarterly-gdp-figures-for-five-years
